This week we will celebrate one of the major feasts of the Church – the Feast of the Transfiguration! There is far more going on in this story than you might think.
We also will remember the great Saint Joseph of Arimathea. Who was he? Why did he give his empty tomb (at considerable risk to himself) for the burial of Jesus? What happened to Joseph AFTER the resurrection?
A significant amount of mystery and legend have built up around Joseph of Arimathea over the centuries and this Friday should involve some fascinating discussions as we dive deep into some of these traditions. Additionally, we will study the parable of “The Friend at Night” so you won’t want to miss this week’s video! It promises to be quite the ride.
