This Saturday we will celebrate a major Saint and Apostle - Saint Matthew. From his being called to follow Jesus out of his old career as a Tax Collector, we will trace Matthew’s journey after the Ascension all the way to Ethiopia!
This trail gets even more fascinating in Ethiopia when we explore the rich and beautiful traditions of Christianity in one of its most ancient forms – the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. All sorts of avenues will be explored on our Odyssey: King Solomon, The Queen of Sheba, the destruction of the Temple by the Babylonians, the Lost Ark of the Covenant, Hallie Selasie and even Bob Marley! It will be an amazing morning; you won’t want to miss it.
